Hello everyone and thank you for your patience in getting feedback as we know there are several of you who have been sending messages asking for feedback and an update. To save time, here is the update:
We took the top 45 submissions to our market for feedback. Of those 45, 8 clearly had more votes than the rest. The 8 submissions with the most votes we have ranked (not necessarily in order). If you are one of the 8, I have sent private messages with feedback. We want to see your best final touches before we take back to the market for feedback.
If you did not make the final 8, we want to thank you for your entries. With nearly 800 entries this contest has been competitive and nearly all of you had a concept that made it to the top 45 submissions.

SOME NOTES AS THE CLOCK TICKS DOWN:
We have sent messages to every contestant now with feedback. If for some reason we missed you, please let us know. Note that due to many submissions towards the end we will not spend time eliminating concepts and instead focus on what we like and to provide more suggestions.
If we sent you specific concepts we like that means you have concepts we want our market to vote on. Some concepts are very similar to other contestants so it is advised to make tweaks and refinements to your concepts and get more entries. Just a slight improvement can be the difference.
If we did not specify what concept we like, that means your designs are good, just not what we are looking for. In these cases, it is in your best interest to reread all the posts and submit a variety of concepts. This will improve your chances of us taking one or more of your concepts to our market for a vote.
KEY NOTES FOR REITERATION:
- Keep in mind the MOST important aspect we are looking for is that it is memorable. So if your concept is much like something we can do a basic google search for related to wealth systems, it is not memorable. What makes your deign memorable like the Nike swoosh or McDonald's golden arch? What makes you famous 5 years from now as the brand is known throughout the US?
- We are liking the designs without the WS more. Focus your attention on designs without WS.
- Be original. If a concept is not yours, do not use it. Find ways to distinctly show your creative genius.
- No need to submit variations of color. We simply are looking at concepts. Color can always be modified.
- Less is more. The more you put in the logo, the less appealing it is. Less in the logo, the more appealing it is.
- We like the logos with Wealth standing out.
- Ensure there is nothing going through the words wealth or systems unless it is a concept memorable/makes the design. Around, above, below, or to the side works (many we like)

QUICK UPDATE:
Hello everyone. As we approach the finish line, we want to thank each of you for your efforts. The designs are getting better and better. Here are some other notes to keep in mind:
As I mentioned in the previous post, the concepts without the WM and some sort of way to get the message across using a simple design with the words Wealth Systems is what is striking us the most. I would focus your remining time on these kinds of concepts. With that being said a couple notes: 1) Do not use anything that goes through the words. It seems to take away more than enhance. We want wealth to standout. Also, while wealth is to standout and be larger than systems, please ensure systems is not "too small." It's a balance. 2) Lastly and most importantly, while comments have been made of what we like, keep in mind the integrity of the competition. Some designs are mere copies of originals of other designers. The rules clearly state not to do this or you will be disqualified. That said, you can observe the designs that are working and "make clear tweaks of creativity that distinctively make it different from an original concept." This goes without saying, yet there has been instances of this by more than one designer copying another. Most of you have at least one design in the running using your original idea, so your own creativity is already working. Please be original as you have been.
We are excited and looking forward to your final designs. And who knows, as we build our brand the way we intend, the winner of this competition could end up being well recognized down the road as we become popular. Best of luck!

UPDATE WITH MORE SPECIFIC SUGGESTIONS:

So everyone can focus their attention on more on what we are liking please read my last post and this one.
From my last post here are even more specific notes:
1) Less is more. The ones we like best do not have of imagery or two many combinations in a single concept.
2) The more simple and clean, the better
3) Concepts without the letters WS we are liking more. There are some great concepts that may win (ultimately our audience will help us decide), however there are ones that standout by using simple ways of incorporating simple concepts with the words Wealth System to get our brand across. There are many with somewhat similar concepts. To give you an idea of some we are liking see: 386, 395, 282, 481, 164, 273, 339, 224, 470, 471, 469, 466
As mentioned in the last post, concepts not eliminated will go to a vote to our audience.

Hello everyone, we are just 4 days away from the contest ending! Now that there are many entries, we want to give you more specific feedback and examples as a group so you can get your best concepts and refinements in.
All active logos (ones not deleted) are either ones we like or have something we like for a future refinement. Eliminated logos we are not taking into consideration with the exception of the ones that are eliminated because there is one active already with that concept (makes it easier on our end).
We are not ranking the logos intentionally because we will be putting the logos to a vote to our market at the end of the competition. The market will help us make that determination. For your benefit this post is to give more clarity of what we like so far.
Here is what we are liking for different criteria with examples:
Font: For this category we like it when WEALTH stands out. It seems to have the most eye appeal and even more so when it is larger than systems. Some examples we like so far are 237, 164, 257, 273, 61, 64, 307
Outside the box/traditional financial systems: This one we put as a category because it may spark ideas to show how we are unique in the logo. There are a couple direct examples, though concepts can be subtle. The abstract and simple ideas seem to be working much better than the palm trees, airplanes, etc for most. A couple examples are 237, 164
Memorable: This is the most important metric. The most important question is how does the logo be consistent with the brand and leave an imprint on people. The challenge may be that so many companies talk about money/wealth/lifestyle. At the same time our opportunity is that the large financial companies have pretty generic logos making it easier for us to stand out. Think Apple. They wanted to stand out. They knew they were in a boring industry and people cared more about experience. We want to stand out being different-and we are in our messaging. Unlike the traditional financial companies that think all about tomorrow, we deliver ways for a better tomorrow AND quality of life today! The ones that stand out so far 257, 288, 25, 61,64, 80.
Abundance/value expansion/action: Everyone has been demonstrating abundance through the colors. Beyond that, the ones that stand out are using simple and subtle ways. Examples are 275, 172, 282, 285, 287, 224.

Then narrow down the concepts mid-way through the contest. To do this we want you to feel leeway for "creative freedom" and give you a little more of what we do and who we are to paint you a better picture. Please, please, please take the opportunity to send us private messages to ask questions about clarity and to put ideas past us. Wealth Systems is a rebrand of a company that has existed since 2015 helping families and small business with objectives, saving money (cash-flow), building liquid assets, and protection planning. Our core message has been to “flip the script” with how the financial industry pushes “retirement” to being about tomorrow to building a better tomorrow AND living an extraordinary quality of life TODAY.
Our founder coined the concept of “The Retirement Myth” illustrating how retirement was branded to condition people to lock up time and money in ways that benefit large institutions first. Over time, we have made refined systems to do this like “finding money” people did not know they had by using a network of professionals such as CPAs, bankers, debt reduction, etc. while using our internal process to mitigate costs and increase income. What we position people and small businesses to do is act like their own bank, using other people’s money at low interest rates for expenses while their money gets compounded at higher levels. Over time, we find they have substantially more purchasing power (money that can be used today).
As part of the rebrand, we will be scaling our business under a new model. It will include the ability for consultants to be a business within a business with multiple ways to earn residual income and have teams. Clients will also be given new innovative tools to be more proactive ways to act like their own bank and take advantage of opportunities more frequently.
We will also establish new ways for businesses to make more revenue, profit and impact leveraging networks as well as evolve the concept of employee benefits with much more offerings about a better quality of life today.
Some of the core focuses we are looking for with a logo are to:
• Be memorable and have something people will remember when they see it (our team will be wearing and it will be all over our marketing materials).
o What are ideas to be memorable?
Set us apart from the “boring banks and other financial institutions”
Show how we are focused on experiences. Possibilities could include subtle ways of showing freedom in action like a plane, sailboat, palm trees, ocean, sun
Use lively colors
• Illustrate our core principles and actions such as:
o Collaboration
o Action
o Value Expansion
o Experiences/Quality of life
o Abundance
Do not:
• Use a concept similar to traditional institutions
• Use basic financial graphics that people have seen a million times like arrows going up, bar graphs, money signs, etc.

Think of what makes us memorable from the traditional industry. Money is a no go. Everyone uses it. Arrows going up, etc communicate same old thing.

The concept needs to reveal how we are different from traditional planning about the concept of retirement. We are about living a better life TODAY and tomorrow.
Think 4 Hour Work Week and Rich Dad Poor Dad. Feel free to use different colors (may need to show how we are different). Logos may be symbolic of freedom today like palm trees, airplane, sailboat, etc (your much more creative so please test the waters)
Please explain your concepts/ideas privately so can give direct feedback.

Please use all uppercase letters and variations of color so we can get an idea of what we like. Darker green and shiny gold are possibilities. Also please do your best to make it memorable and stand out from "boring banks and financial institutions."

Here are some helpful hints to make sure you get the most out of our site, and your contest.
DO NOT FINALIZE YOUR CONTEST UNTIL ALL REVISIONS ARE MADE AND THE EXACT DESIGN YOU WANT IS SHOWING AND RANKED #1.
1. Please rank your submissions or post general comments a minimum of 1 time per day while your contest is running. This is required should you want to request an extension to your contest and will produce the best results from our designers.
2. Once your contest receives 40 design concepts, your prize amount will become "Guaranteed".
3. Please make the most out of our messaging and comment systems.
a) Place general comments on this main contest page to give all of the designers your preferences and what you would like to see or not see.
b) Clicking on any designers submssion will bring up a page of all submissions by that designer with an option to post private comments pertaining only to his work. (Only the contest Holder and that designer can view and post to this page)
c) Clicking on the designer username under a submission will allow you to send a completely private message to that specific designer.
4. Please "Eliminate" only those logo designs that you feel have no chance of winning your contest. (Be aware that eliminating everything may discourage participation from the designers.)
5. Please rank the designs 1 to 10 and there are also options to rank Elements you like, Colors you like, and Fonts you like. This will help guide the designers toward the design that you are looking for. For the best variety of designs, try not to keep the same design ranked #1 for an extended time as this may result in copying of that design.
6. We require that you do not ask one Designer to use elements or concepts from another Designer. The general rule is that, if a Designer was the first to use and submit the idea in one of their designs, they essentially own that concept or idea for the remainder of the contest. We will remove any deisgns that use copied concepts. Requests or ideas you have put in your Contest Brief or posted as contest attachments are fair game and open to everyone. Concepts that are considered obvious will also be fair game, for example: a dog & cat for a pet hospital, shopping bag for an e-commerce company, a tooth for a dentist, initials for a lawyer, etc.
7. Once your contest ends and is in judging mode, any designer that is ranked #1 #2 #3 #4 or #5 will be able to upload any revisions you request. Simply rank a designers entry to allow revisions to be uploaded.
Discussion Guidelines:
1. Designers and Contest Holders please always be respectful of each other, we all have the same goal.
2. Please do not criticize any design publicly, these discussions should only be held in private.
3. Designers may not post any external links to any designs.
