The team decided to work with Krayon's designs -- for sure what is ranked #1 and possibly what is ranked #2. We have asked him to tweak some colors before we finalize.
Thank you everyone again for these FANTASTIC designs. I repeat, you are ALL extremely talented and we really appreciated your time.
Thank you,
The Georgetown University Law Center Business Law Scholars Team

At this point, I really need to get the full team together for the final choice. We'd like to see 197 say "Business Law Scholars." Other than that, I think you have all shown us all the variations we've asked for. Thank you so much again for all your effort. All you designs are wonderful.

I think the interior colors will be Blue 282, Cool Grey 10 or Cool Grey 4. ( I've just left the other blue interior color options for the group to look at when we review on Tuesday.) Designs 149 and 189 are light which we like. Design 159 is clever and matches the curved wall. All of Krayon's designs are classic -- which the group liked as well. The column should say "Business Law Scholars" all on one side. (i.e. not be broken up into two sides.) That looked best, and that way where ever you are in the room, that is what you will see. We want simple, not too busy. We are close to the end. Thank you for all your designs and hard work. It is really appreciated.

All the entries are great. I have a meeting set up with Georgetown tomorrow to make sure the fonts are all acceptable. Then, we will have a meeting with all involved towards the end for final choices (Georgetown and the design firm). Thank you.

I've tried to be polite and email most of you separately, to thank you for your efforts. I did not realize you did not know what number entry I was talking about when I did. At this point, I would have no idea which number I was speaking out when I emailed each of you. There are too many of you. From now on, I will reference the number, but I can't go back. Sorry and thank you again.

Please remember, it's an "I" column. Thank you.

The logo will only be on the "I" column, not on the wood paneling on the right. PLEASE, do not put an image on the wood paneling. Thank you.

I will rank later today. Please note, there will not be a logo on the wood paneled wall on the right. We are just painting the "I" column. Thank you again for all the submissions.

I realize the #1 choice is missing an "n." I presume that will be put in and re-proportioned. What we like it: #1: Proportion, finish on the top and bottom, adding in the Business Law Scholars. Not sure whether we will go with the navy or maroon color. #2 we like the unified look of the clock tower. The blue and white combination, the use of Business Law Scholars. #3 we like the classic school colors (blue and grey), the unified look and the navy on the bottom will be easy to keep the column clean. A white could get dirty. #4 we like the air over the clock tower. Unfortunately, there isn't enough room for the logo on the floor (although it's a very cool idea.) Submission 26 - we like the air over the clock tower, Submission 36 we like the horizontal lines below the actual clock, submission 40 we like the business law scholars featured in the middle. So, we like lots of your concepts. Thank you for continuing to be both classic and thinking out off the box.

I posted column dimensions. Please remember, it's an "I" column not a box.

First: It's an "I" column, not a box. I will post the dimensions with some update photos to assist.
This is a summary of what we have loved to date: Proportionate, unified columns. Finished tops and bottoms. Fresh ideas. Incorporating the "Business Law Scholars" text. Possibly color -- we are unclear of where we will fall on that. It's helpful to see the renderings in the space, and what the 4 sides will look like.
The ottomans in the hallway will be maroon -- the rendering above incorrectly shows them as blue. We will upload the correct photo of that. Thank you so much everyone for participating. We are loving what we are seeing.

Thank you for the submissions-- GREAT WORK so far! With respect to the clocktower designs, we've liked the designs that look unified rather than segmented. Thank you 44Design-- your design is very creative and we appreciate that. We would like to see more designs with color pops. Above are the architects accepted 2ndary colors.

I like the image of the whole column as one clock tower. I will find out tomorrow if the school is ok with that. That doesn't mean everyone should submit. that. idea. We are open to all new ideas. I'd love to see some versions that say "Business Law Scholars" -- I'm thinking one side may say "Georgetown Law: and another may say. the Business Law Scholars. Remember, we have 4 sides of the column to paint. Also - do you any of you want to use any of the brighter colors allowed in the color palette to make your designs pop? Remember, we have lights above the column to accentuate the column. We are not trying to hide the. column, but rather to feature the column. Finally, please look at the fonts allowed by Georgetown in the link: https://www.georgetown.edu/visual-identity/#introduction. I also think Georgetown would be ok with the font in the circular logo. I can find out what font that is too if that is helpful. Thank you to all of you who are trying to help here.

We do not plan to put a design on the wall across from the column as it's a door to a stairwell. We do plan to put something on all 4 sides of the column.

Feel free to look at the above link to help to ensure any design is consistent with the university standards. We are looking for pop that still is consistent. So for example, blue and gray are the official colors; however, the guide shows a bunch of approved secondary and tertiary color pantones as well as related color schemes.

Dear fantastic graphic artists. To be clear- the artwork needs be tall and narrow to fit on the structural column. There are 4 sides to the column, and. we are open to how many sides have artwork on them. We are looking for something that pops!

Welcome and Thank You for Choosing LogoContest.com!
Here are some helpful hints to make sure you get the most out of our site, and your contest.
DO NOT FINALIZE YOUR CONTEST UNTIL ALL REVISIONS ARE MADE AND THE EXACT DESIGN YOU WANT IS SHOWING AND RANKED #1.
1. Please rank your submissions or post general comments a minimum of 1 time per day while your contest is running. This is required should you want to request an extension to your contest and will produce the best results from our designers.
2. Once your contest receives 40 design concepts, your prize amount will become "Guaranteed".
3. Please make the most out of our messaging and comment systems.
a) Place general comments on this main contest page to give all of the designers your preferences and what you would like to see or not see.
b) Clicking on any designers submssion will bring up a page of all submissions by that designer with an option to post private comments pertaining only to his work. (Only the contest Holder and that designer can view and post to this page)
c) Clicking on the designer username under a submission will allow you to send a completely private message to that specific designer.
4. Please "Eliminate" only those logo designs that you feel have no chance of winning your contest. (Be aware that eliminating everything may discourage participation from the designers.)
5. Please rank the designs 1 to 10 and there are also options to rank Elements you like, Colors you like, and Fonts you like. This will help guide the designers toward the design that you are looking for. For the best variety of designs, try not to keep the same design ranked #1 for an extended time as this may result in copying of that design.
6. We require that you do not ask one Designer to use elements or concepts from another Designer. The general rule is that, if a Designer was the first to use and submit the idea in one of their designs, they essentially own that concept or idea for the remainder of the contest. We will remove any deisgns that use copied concepts. Requests or ideas you have put in your Contest Brief or posted as contest attachments are fair game and open to everyone. Concepts that are considered obvious will also be fair game, for example: a dog & cat for a pet hospital, shopping bag for an e-commerce company, a tooth for a dentist, initials for a lawyer, etc.
7. Once your contest ends and is in judging mode, any designer that is ranked #1 #2 #3 #4 or #5 will be able to upload any revisions you request. Simply rank a designers entry to allow revisions to be uploaded.
Discussion Guidelines:
1. Designers and Contest Holders please always be respectful of each other, we all have the same goal.
2. Please do not criticize any design publicly, these discussions should only be held in private.
3. Designers may not post any external links to any designs.
4. Please do not ask a contest holder to view your designs or discuss any other designs.
5. Designers can not discuss copied designs on the contest pages and may submit a Logo Dispute to the Admin only.
Our team at LogoContest.com as well as our designers will make sure you are 100% satisfied and want you to leave here with a design that you love!
Please recommend us to your friends and business associates for all of their logo design and web page design needs.
